I have enjoyed creating this website since it went public in early January of 2011. As of the moment I am writing this my Arizona Medical Marijuana Law website has had 139,893 viewers. The best month was March of 2011 when the site had 21,421. The best day was March 28, 2011, when 1,572 people viewed the site.
The reason this site gets so much traffic is because it has tons of content – over 750 pages and posts. This site has all of the Arizona medical marijuana statutes, the entire text of Proposition 203, and the Arizona Department of Health Services rules.
I am a business lawyer. One of the reasons I created this website was because I wanted to provide legal services to medical marijuana dispensaries. This site has generated a tremendous amount of legal business for me. I formed 82 entities for people who at one time intended to file an application to obtain a license to operate an Arizona medical marijuana dispensary. Unfortunately for the reasons I state in my article entitled “Warning to Everybody Considering Becoming Involved with an Arizona Medical Marijuana Dispensary” I have reluctantly decided I will no longer provide legal services to any prospective or actual dispensary.
Going forward I am not willing to devote the time needed to stay abreast of developments in and outside Arizona in the medical marijuana industry. This site is a great business opportunity for a person or a business that wants to generate revenue from the Arizona medical marijuana industry. I have never had paid ads, but ads could be a good source of revenue.
